It has been a big year of collaborations for the Gucci Design house. They've really been targeting the social media generation and tapping into the art scene. Last season they used Trevor Andrew a popular tag artist that goes by "trouble". His works as Gucci Ghost landed him a collaboration opportunity with Gucci. Using his signature aesthetic he created pieces that were a big hit on social media and any press event that was important.
On a newer note Gucci has commissioned the pop illustrator Angelica Hicks and her cool satire illustrations for custom tees. The tees are fun and have a lot of spunk. It's playing with words and cool slogans, and fun comedic illustration. The tees are very relatable and and would be super cute for summer moments. They are super instagrammable and a major grab for your summer wardrobe.
I find it cool and edgy that artist are getting an opportunity to share their talents in different scopes. So make sure you check out Angelica Hicks work HERE. Her Gucci collaboration launches tomorrow on Gucci, so make sure you check it out for the rare limited release.
